What we do
We provide services which help alleviate homelessness across Scotland. We now also provide training for coaching qualifications.
Every year Rowan Alba supports around many service users in Edinburgh.
Rowan Alba reduces social isolation for 40 isolated individuals through our volunteer befriending service, CARDS (Community Alcohol Related Damage Service).
Through our services, we provide:
- roofs over heads
- hope for the future
- an ear to listen
- help setting up homes
- the confidence to tackle problems
- stability and security
- the chance to make a difference
Rowan Alba provides a range of services including accommodation and one to one support.
Rowan Alba offers a variety of coaching qualifications and training services.

There are so many people out there who could be getting the same help I got.
WendyYour donations are vital to us in order to carry out our work. Help support us, so we can continue to support them.

The need for people to be able to call their GP surgery or pharmacist is vital, as is the importance of remaining in contact with family and friends. Many people are telling us they have no phone credit and are worried about how they will manage to spend more on food than normal to allow them to keep themselves safe. No one is panic buying. Everyone is simply preparing for less trips to the shop than usual. We need to respond by supporting these people to self isolate safely. £10 has never gone so far as it does now.
